As a company founded by US military veterans who served in Afghanistan, Rumi Spice has made it their mission to use spices a force for good. By sourcing spices directly from rural farmers and women in Afghanistan, they're able to help provide reliable wages and economic stability to their Afghan agricultural partners.

Herati Coriander Seed

This robust seed is hand-harvested in the Herat region of Afghanistan and adds a subtle burst of citrusy, peppery zing to just about anything. We suggest trying it in a tomato-based curry or tangy cilantro chutney

Wild Foraged Fennel Seed

Aromatic, warming, and slightly sweet; this wild fennel seed features heady notes of licorice. Welcome in both sweet and savory dishes, but we highly recommend pairing with pork sausage or white fish.
