Hot and aromatic with a touch of sweetness, "Berbere" literally translates to "hot". It goes great with lamb or lentil dishes, but for an easy treat try it sprinkled on some popcorn.

It makes my lamb chops sing! I use it in my ground beef for Mediterranean-style stuffed peppers! I love the fact that this Berebere does not contain sunflower oil!
Never heard of Berbere until I receive a tin in my read and eat box. Fell in love immediately. Used on chicken, fish, popcorn and have added it to soup. Anything that needs to be brought up a notch.
This is hands down my favorite Berbere. We use it on pork tenderloin and it's so good I've tried adding it to almost everything. I added a bit to my spaghetti sauce instead of just a little cinnamon. It makes everything smell amazing too!
We LOVE this spice blend and use it almost nightly (when we don't run out, haha). Its great on chicken, sweet potatoes but my favorite way is to use it in lentil patties that are pan fried and prepared similar to falafel. It has just the right amount of heat and the fenugreek really comes through.
I added this to a lentil and potato stew, and we loved it! Spicy and a little sweet, great to add depth to vegetarian dishes!
