Za'atar

Hello. So in a recent food subscription order, I got a sample of Za'atar for making salad dressing. Ok, I thought. I mised it in with the olive oil and lemon juice (which I prefer to vinegar) poured over salad and took a bite.

That was the BEST flavor I have ever had! I quickly DEVOURED the salad and then licked the bowl. I am not ashamed to admit. I now own a container of Za'atar and IT MAKES THE BEST SALAD DRESSING EVAR! However, I will be adding it to everything else I make soon.

What I ordered for myself (turmeric, ginger & Zatar) were packaged perfectly and are highly aromatic and flavorful.
For Christmas, I ordered some as gifts and, in particular, my brother raved about how delicious the French fry seasoning is.

I never tried za’atar before getting this tin. I really enjoyed the flavor. It adds a medley of flavors that I don’t usually have.

This is my 3rd purchase of Zatar from Spicewalla - it adds flavor to meats and veggies. I reach for it a lot.

Spicewalla Zaatar is amazing on homemade bagels. After cooking, we added bacon, eggs, white cheddar and Duke’s mayo. Had this combination at Benchwarmers Bagels in Raleigh, NC.
