Chai Masala
Chai Masala
If you think chai is just a tea bag from the coffee shop, prepare to be amazed. Chef Meherwan built this blend on memories of Indian street chai (bold, spicy, with ginger and cardamom taking center stage), not the cinnamon-heavy versions you might be used to.
Yes, it brews an incredible traditional cup when simmered with black tea, milk, and a little sweetness. But here's where it gets fun: this blend is a total kitchen MVP. Fold it into whipped cream for the best coffee topper you've ever had. Stir it into oatmeal or yogurt for instant morning magic. Bake it into cookies, cakes, or homemade ice cream. Shake it into cocktails that taste like cozy in a glass!
To brew for two: In a saucepot, combine 1 cup whole milk & 1 cup water. Bring to a low simmer. Add 1/2 tsp Chai Masala blend & 2 tsp black tea leaves (or 2 black tea bags). Simmer for 3 minutes, strain, & sweeten to taste. Enjoy!

Ginger leads with warming, peppery heat that wakes up your whole palate. Green cardamom follows with sweet, floral notes that feel almost citrusy and bright. Cinnamon adds familiar warmth without dominating, while black pepper, clove, and allspice layer in depth and a subtle spicy complexity. The result is bold and aromatic, spicy but balanced, with that authentic street chai character that feels alive in every sip.

Just as expected.
This is the most amazing chai spice blend I've ever tried! Highly recommend!
all the individual spices i've tried the last 2-3 years have been extremely good, but the masala chai mix is superior. excellently balanced blend, strong, and flavorful, and very happily warming. if you are a ginger fan i highly recommend it.
I use this mix in my molasses cookies and they turn out so perfectly spiced (I use 4 tsps and black strap molasses so they’re a bit punchy and you definitely feel the warmth from these spices!). They’re a favorite at my family’s holiday parties! I also use this for tea (2 tsps!) with a bit of sweetened condensed milk and a little secret ingredient. It’s rich and lightly spicy. The perfect winter time treat.
Lovely and perfect for my daily tea.
