Botiwalla Biryani Masala

$10.19Translation missing: en.products.general.regular_price $11.99 Translation missing: en.products.general.sale_price

This robust blend is inspired by the traditional Indian rice dish we serve in our restaurants! Smoky Shahi Jeera & Black Cardamom combine with warming spices like Cinnamon, Green Cardamom, Cloves, and Nutmeg for our signature Botiwalla Biryani Masala. This lil guy’s not just a biryani bud, though. Sprinkle some into a hearty lentil stew, or try tossing some onto hearty veggies like potatoes and cauliflower for rich, roasted deliciousness.

Big Tin: 4.1 oz

Ingredients: Indian coriander seed, black peppercorn, cumin seed, shahi jeera, cinnamon sticks, black cardamom, mace, green cardamom, fennel seed, cayenne, cloves, nutmeg, bay leaves, star anise

Finally! A Biryani Masala I love!

I've been happily making Biryani since this arrived. I mix half and half with the Garam Masala and the combination is an absolute winner!
This is a wonderful, high quality spice mix! The spices are course ground, making them easy to toast(a pre-req IMO) and add delightful texture to my one pot Biryani!
Loving this mix!

Excellent substitute for buying six individual spices

I am a make it from scratch person, but I'm living away from home for a few months, and not wanting to buy multiple spices which duplicate the ones I've got back home, I bought this blend. It makes an excellent rub on lamb chops, and a great addition to a yogurt marinade for chicken. It is literally as good as having your own rack of multiple spices - in one jar.

Deep, rich flavor and the tin container keeps the herbs fresh! Our new favorite blends from Spicewalla!!

Much needed biriyani masala

Great addition, would appreciate an official biriyani recipe leveraging the Botiwalla masala. We used it in our take of Berry Polao and it turned out great.
