THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS GIVE BACK

Now through July 6th, 25% of all sales on Spicewallabrand.com will go to Southside Kitchen in partnership with We Give a Share, two local, non-profit organizations helping to solve the issues of hunger, health, and to create job opportunities through mentorship and training for Asheville’s low income and marginalized communities.              

 The goal is to provide community meals to those in need that are as nutritious and delicious as possible.  By donating to the “We Give a Share” program, supporters are offered an opportunity to purchase a nominal “shares” of local farms that are dedicated to growing fresh produce specifically for the Southside Kitchen. The Southside Kitchen then, in turn, offers a space for culinary job training, as well as community outreach, delivering fresh, healthy meals to seniors and at-risk community members living in Asheville Housing Authority residences.

25% of your purchase with Spicewalla during the Pursuit of Happiness Give Back will go towards providing good food, nourishment, and employment opportunities to those who face economic hardship and disparities due to age, race, income, and health. Thank you for your contribution!
