ASHEVILLE, N.C., June 12, 2025Spicewalla, the Asheville spice brand from award-winning chef Meherwan Irani, today launches its Made With Love in Asheville Collection — a limited-edition 10-pack of exclusive spice blends celebrating Asheville’s creative and collaborative spirit and supportive food community. Each exclusive spice blend was made in collaboration with some of the city’s most beloved makers, chefs, and institutions including Ashleigh Shanti (Good Hot Fish), Biltmore Estate, Burial Beer Co., Chai Pani, Chop Shop Butchery, Hickory Nut Gap Farms, High Five Coffee, Katie Button (Cúrate), Poppy Popcorn, and William Dissen (The Market Place, Billy D’s). 

Every collection purchased helps recovery efforts, celebrates local flavors, and directly supports the comeback in Asheville, with a portion of sales being donated to MANNA FoodBank, Homeward Bound, and Blue Ridge Public Radio.

Spicewalla sources spices at peak freshness and roasts, grinds, blends, and packs by hand in small batches for professional chefs and home cooks.

  • Burial Beer Forestry Camp’s Smoke Rub - Smoky, bold, and unapologetically savory. This blend was born from Burial’s love of fire-cooked food and deep, forested flavor.
