We teamed up with our buds over at Island Creek Oysters to create the first ever Mignonette Blend. What is mignonette you ask? It's a condiment served with fresh oysters made with a combination of vinegar, minced shallot and pepper. No more finely mincing shallots by hand, just add this blend to your favorite vinegar and voila! Instant mignonette to go with freshly shucked Island Creek Oysters. This blend is the perfect balance of pepper and shallot with touch of beer powder to fully transport you to the beautiful Duxbury Bay slurping down fresh oysters without a care in the world! 


1 Tablespoon Spicewalla x Island Creek Oysters Mignonette Blend

1/4 cup vinegar of choice (champagne, red wine, sherry, etc.)

1 dozen shucked Island Creek Oysters, on ice

Shop the Recipe


  1. In a small serving bowl or jar, add the Mignonette Blend. 
  2. Pour the vinegar over the blend and stir thoroughly to combine. 
  3. Let sit for about 5 minutes to rehydrate the shallots. 
  4. Spoon a drizzle of the mignonette over the fresh oysters, slurp and enjoy!
