Spicewalla Golden Milk

Spicewalla Golden Milk

Served for thousands of years, this antioxidant-rich bevvy will leave you feelin' like a million bucks. The best part? It's also super tasty! A sunny, fragrant blend of Turmeric, Cinnamon, Ginger, Black Pepper, Nutmeg, and Roasted Coriander - it's tough to overstate just how yummy and comforting this stuff is.

  • Ingredients

1 cup milk or dairy-free alternative
    1 tsp Spicewalla Golden Milk
    Honey (optional)

    Preparation

    1.  Mix milk and Spicewalla Golden Milk in a small saucepan, stir to combine.
    2.  Over medium-low heat, bring golden milk to a low simmer. Continue to simmer for 3-5 minutes.
    3.  Remove from heat, add honey to sweeten if preferred. Enjoy!

**For the smoothest Golden Milk: pour through a fine-mesh strainer before drinking.
**For iced Golden Milk: let cool for 30 minutes at room temperature then pour over ice or store in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Hi Doris, thanks for your question! We have worked hard in the Spicewalla lab coming up with our unique blend, so our personal recipe is a secret. However, there are tons of other recipes for golden milk spice blends online, and we bet they will be even better with Spicewalla spices😉. Here is one with lots of good reviews! https://minimalistbaker.com/4-ingredient-golden-milk-mix/#wprm-recipe-container-36777

from past orders I have the ingredients to make my own golden milk recipe up from scratch — is there a recipe to make my own golden milk blend — I want to use the many spices I have purchased from you and would greatly appreciate a recipe to make a golden blend to then use with milk
with appreciation and best new year’s wishes

Hi Maria, thanks for your question! You can definitely substitute hot water. Maybe start with 1 tsp golden milk and then add more to taste!

Hello. Can I use this with hot water instead of milk? In other words, can I replace a turmeric tea bag blend with this, and if so, how much golden milk mix powder would you recommend for a cup of boiling water? Thanks. I love your other spices so I am excited to try this blend instead of store-bought turmeric tea.

Maria
