Creamy Salsa Verde with Pescado Verde

Creamy Salsa Verde with Pescado Verde

Grab that blender and some tomatillos because we're making salsa tonight! Homemade salsa is fun, easy and always tastes fresher and more flavorful than store bought. Our Pescado Verde seasoning isn't only just a perfect blend for fish tacos and ceviche, it's herby and zesty flavor elevates this salsa to new levels. Spoon this over tacos, nachos or eat it on it's own with tortilla chips!

3 serrano chile peppers, seeds removed (keep seeds if you like spicy!) and roughly chopped

2 cloves garlic

1 Tbs Spicewalla Pescado Verde

¼ cup cilantro leaves

¼ cup sour cream

  2. Remove from the heat and carefully pour the contents of the pot to a blender. Add the cilantro and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the salsa into a small mixing bowl, add the sour cream, lime juice, and a couple pinches of salt. Stir to incorporate. Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
