Our Famous Masala Chai Recipe blend is so good, you'll be cha cha chai-ing all day long. 

  • Ingredients

    1 Cup whole milk
    1 Cup water
    1/2 tsp Spicewalla Chai Masala blend
    2 tsp black tea leaves (or 2 black tea bags)
    Sweetener of choice (sugar, honey, etc)

    Preparation

    To brew for 2

    1. In a saucepot, combine 1 cup whole milk & 1 cup water. Bring to a low simmer.
    2. Add 1/2 tsp Spicewalla Chai Masala blend and 2 tsp black tea leaves (or 2 black tea bags). Simmer for 3 minutes.
    3. Strain and sweeten to taste withhoney or sugar&Enjoy

This makes the perfect chai! I’ve always made chai a different way but this will be my way from now on. I followed the recipe as written apart from adding fresh ginger towards the end, but I think some adjustments to the milk and water ratio would be fine if someone prefers less or more milky chai.
