Zucchini Curly Fries with French Fry Seasoning Salt

Can we all agree that curly fries are a perfect food? It's just a fact of life. When you've got that curly fry craving but you don't want to make a mess peeling/cutting potatoes and deep frying - don't fret friend. This recipe is exactly what you're looking for. These crispy crunchy zucchini fries are packed with flavour and are fun and easy to make! Seasoned with our French Fry Seasoning Salt for the perfect combo of salty, sweet and zesty. Make sure you save your own secret stash of these when you make them because they will go fast! 

Ingredients

3 medium zucchinis, spiralized or store bought zucchini spirals (12 oz)

½ cup cornstarch

¼ cup all purpose flour 

4 large eggs

2 cups panko bread crumbs

2 Tbs Spicewalla French Fry Seasoning Salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Place the zucchini spirals in a large mixing bowl, sprinkle the cornstarch and flour over the spirals and toss to fully coat.
  3. In a separate small bowl, add the eggs and whisk until fully incorporated
  4. In another separate small bowl add the panko and season with Spicewalla French Fry Seasoning Salt, toss to combine
  5. Working in small batches, quickly dredge the spirals in the eggs, let excess drip back into the bowl then add them to the seasoned panko bowl and toss to coat. Place the spirals on the parchment lined sheet tray in a single layer. Repeat with remaining spirals.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. 
  7. Sprinkle with more French Fry Seasoning Salt and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
