"Fry U a Wing" feat: T-Pain

Let chef Meherwan and Grammy Award-winning wing master T-Pain Fry U a Wing. We've been hard at work in the flavour studio to bring you three chart-topping custom blends that'll guarantee you never have to wing it with your wings again.

Between the smokey spice of the Straight Fire, The garlicky sweetness of the Sugar Daddy, and the Juicy pineapple and jalapeno flavors of The Juice, we have all your wings needs covered!


3-4 pounds whole chicken wings

Avocado oil or another high smoke point oil such as vegetable or canola

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel then divide them up into three mixing bowls.
  2. Add about 2 tsp of oil to each batch of wings and toss them in the oil to evenly coat. 
  3. Add 2-3 Tbs of each wing blend flavor to a different bowl and toss again to coat the wings. 
  4. Cover the bowls and place the wings in the fridge to marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.  
  5. Remove the wings from the fridge about 20 minutes before cooking.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425* or heat your grill to medium-high heat.
  7. If you are baking them - line a baking sheet with parchment paper. You may need to use two baking sheets. 
  8. Cook the wings in the oven or on the grill for about 15 minutes, flipping a few times, until golden brown and slightly charred and the internal temperature reaches 165*
  9. Sprinkle with more Spicewalla X TPain wing blends after they’re done if you want an extra flavor boost. 
  10. Serve immediately with celery, carrot sticks, ranch and blue cheese for dipping. 
  11. Enjoy!

  • Hi Jake,

    This is an excellent idea, Im sure you can just use standard air frying instructions for wings to adapt to this recipe.
    Follow through to step 6, the cooling instructions and follow these instructions instead.

    Spray the basket of a 3.5-quart air fryer with cooking spray and set aside. Place the wings in the fryer basket so they are not touching (if necessary to fit, line up the drumettes standing upright along the sides). Set the air fryer to 360 degrees F and cook for 12 minutes, then flip the wings with tongs and cook for 12 minutes more. Flip the wings again, increase the heat to 390 degrees F and cook until the outsides are extra-crispy, about 6 minutes more.
