Golden Milkshake

Golden Milkshake

For the unfamiliar, Golden milk is a traditional Indian drink that has its roots in Ayurveda. In its simplest form it’s a blend of hot milk and ground turmeric. We like to enjoy it with additional spices such as ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, clove, and cardamom. But turmeric is the star of the show.

While it’s traditionally served warm, as a tea, lately it’s been reinvented in practically every way you can imagine, from ice cream to hot cocoa to overnight oats. So why not a milkshake?

Bester served on a warm summers day and enjoyed with friends!
