Chilli Lime Mangonada Jello Shots

Sweet, spicy, and just the right amount of extra — these Chilli Lime Mangonada Jello Shots bring the fiesta wherever they go  🎉  Directly from the beautiful mind of our Culinary Director, Alyse Baca, these are not to be missed! Inspired by the classic Mangonada, a frozen mango, chamoy, and chilli lime beverage that’s equal parts sweet, tangy, and spicy. This playful twist takes those iconic flavours and turns them into a bite-sized party!

Made with juicy mango purée, tangy lime, a drizzle of chamoy, and a splash (or two) of tequila, each shot gets finished with a sprinkle of our Chilli Lime Seasoning for that signature tangy–spicy punch 🌶️

They’re fun, fiery, and guaranteed to steal the show at your next party!

  • Ingredients

    ½ cup water
    2 (.25oz) packets of unflavored gelatin
    1 cup mango puree
    1 cup mango juice 
    ½ cup granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp lime juice
    1 cup vodka or tequila blanco
    Chamoy sauce 
    Spicewalla Chilli Lime
    24 (2oz) portion cups with lids

    Preparation

    1. Heat water and gelatin in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking until the gelatin has dissolved, about 5 minutes. 
    2. Add the mango purée, mango juice, sugar, and lime juice, whisk contstanty and warm on medium heat for about another 5 minutes. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
    3. Whisk vodka or tequila into the cooled mango gelatin until combined.
    4. Add a few drops of chamoy sauce into the bottom of each 2-oz cup. Fill each cup evenly with mango gelatin mixture. Place the lids on each cup and set them in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
    5. When ready to serve, remove from the fridge and remove the lids. Sprinkle the Chilli Lime on each jello shot and enjoy!
