2 tsp canola or vegetable oil
1 pound French green beans, ends trimmed
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 Tbsp Spicewalla Cajun Seasoning
1/4 cup French’s Crispy Fried Onions
- Heat oil in a large saucepan over high heat
- Add green beans in a single layer and cook untouched for 3 minutes, then shake pan to roll green beans around in the pan and cook another 3 minutes until the beans have some dark charring on them.
- Add butter, salt and Spicewalla Cajun Seasoning to the pan and stir until butter has melted and the sauce has begun to thicken a little bit and coat the green beans.
- Place on a serving plate and sprinkle with fried onions.
