Apple Pie Spice Daiquiri

We made ya a cocktail, and it tastes exactly like a slice of tart apple pie. Consider this a modern, Apple Pie Spiced-up, version of the appletini. Minus the lime green color and cover charge. Perfect as a pre-dinner sipper, or as a post-dinner sweet treat.


For the Apple Pie Spiced syrup:
1 cup Sugar
1 cup apple cider
2 tbsp Spicewalla Apple Pie Spice

For the Cocktail:
2 oz Plantation Stiggins Fancy Rum
3/4 oz Apple Syrup
3/4 oz Lime juice

For the Syrup:

  1. Bring the apple cider and Spicewalla Apple Pie Spice to a simmer and let simmer for a few minutes
  2. Add sugar and simmer until dissolved.
  3. set aside to cool
  4. let sit over night then strain through cheese cloth

To Assemble the Cocktail:

  1. Pour rum, syrup, and lime into a cocktail shaker
  2. Add ice and shake
  3. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a lime wheel
  4. Enjoy!
