Berbere, Garam Masala, and Harissa introduce just a few of the original flavors from the eight countries on Africa’s eastern coast—countries that have long defined the backbone of the spice trade.
Hot and aromatic with a touch of sweetness, "Berbere" literally translates to "hot". It goes great with lamb or lentil dishes, but for an easy treat try it sprinkled on some popcorn.
