Ingredients

2 tsp canola or vegetable oil
1 pound French green beans, ends trimmed
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 Tbsp Spicewalla Cajun Seasoning
1/4 cup French’s Crispy Fried Onions

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over high heat
  2. Add green beans in a single layer and cook untouched for 3 minutes, then shake pan to roll green beans around in the pan and cook another 3 minutes until the beans have some dark charring on them.
  3. Add butter, salt and Spicewalla Cajun Seasoning to the pan and stir until butter has melted and the sauce has begun to thicken a little bit and coat the green beans.
  4. Place on a serving plate and sprinkle with fried onions.
  5. Enjoy!
